Our Renowned 4WD Experience Day

4WD Experience Days

Looking to venture beyond blacktop? Our off-road experience days offer the ultimate all-terrain driving experiences.

Ideal for both new four-wheel drive owners eager to experience what it is like to operate their 4WD off-road and seasoned drivers aiming to join the existing community to create new friendships. These programs focus on practical, behind-the-wheel training to hone the crucial techniques helpful to build your off-road confidence and understanding.

What you might experience on an experience day

  • Adopting practices that minimise harm to the environment
  • Driving a four-wheel-drive vehicle in off-road conditions, which includes:
    • Navigating steep ascents and descents
    • Selecting appropriate ranges, gears, and driving techniques
    • Maneuvering through muddy areas and ditches
    • Driving across slopes with uneven surfaces (often refered to as crossaxled terrain)
    • Handling the vehicle on irregular sandy terrain
    • Crossing through water and traveling on both dry and wet dirt tracks
  • Employing a single snatch strap for vehicle recovery (if situation arises)
  • Possessing the knowledge and ability to operate a four-wheel-drive vehicle responsibly with environmental considerations in mind

Please note that our experience days are not meant to serve as training sessions, and our programs do not carry accreditation. Our main goal is to produce content for publication while operating within the guidelines of the National 4×4 Club of Australia.

Our large group experience days come with a per vehicle fee and typically see attendance of 10 or more vehicles. If a more private setting appeals to you, we offer sessions for smaller groups as well. Please reach out to us for more details.
