DC Starlink Mini Converter – 12V 7.5A Anderson ConnectorDC Starlink Mini Converter – 12V 7.5A Anderson Connector
Say goodbye to frustrating restarts and dropouts with this in-line Anderson adapter, designed to stabilise your Starlink Mini on any 12V system. It delivers a clean, consistent 36V DC up to 2A (72W) output from 12V–14.6V sources, solving the common low-voltage issues found in wet cell, flooded, and lead-acid batteries.
Perfect for vehicles running smart alternators or deep-cycle setups especially if solar is used to charge these batteries, this adapter ensures your connection stays online. Built tough with upgraded 14AWG/16AWG wiring, a blade fuse for protection, and enhanced cable gauge to minimise voltage loss — it’s engineered for reliable, all-terrain performance.
Say Goodbye to Starlink Mini Power Drops
This in-line adapter eliminates the issue of the Starlink Mini restarting when powered from all types of 12V DC source. By placing this Anderson Connector adapter between your Starlink Mini and the 12V power supply, voltage instability is corrected — ensuring continuous, reliable operation.
Users who have modified their Starlink Mini cable to connect directly to an Anderson plug on a 12V setup may experience unexpected restarts without this in-line step-up converter, especially when using systems powered by smart alternators or deep-cycle / wet-cell batteries.
If you’re looking for an adapter that connects directly to the factory 15 m Starlink Mini cable, allowing you to switch seamlessly between 12V DC and 230V AC household power, we recommend this alternate adapter here instead — designed for quick transitions between both power types.
Based on feedback from our earlyt adopter cable cable in 2024 when Starlink Mini was released, we’ve increased the cable gauge to reduce voltage loss and have over-engineered the design for optimal power efficiency and durability.
This adapter accepts 12V–14.6V DC input and outputs a stable 36V DC at 2 A (72w), perfectly matched to the Starlink Mini’s requirements. It remains within a vehicle’s standard 10 A, 12V accessory socket (most can supply up to max 120w) rating. The unit also includes a blade fuse for 12V protection, features 14 AWG wiring on the input side and 16 AWG wiring on the output, and is fully compatible with our 3 m 12V Anderson to Starlink Mini cable — ideal for setups with lower-quality power sources.
