Direct Factory Replacement
This panel directly replaces the original component and fits perfectly with no trimming or modifications required. It utilises the factory two screws that secure the original blanking plate and clips into the same mounting points. The installation is fully reversible, allowing the customer to return the vehicle to its original configuration at any time.

Installation Note
To install, the original sunglass holder and interior light assembly must be removed (but is reinstalled after changing with this switch panel). We offer professional installation and can also relocate existing switches or integrate accessories into this switch panel — all without drilling into the factory console. The process is completely reversible, leaving no trace, as if the switches or panel were never there!

This kit includes our All Terrain X Mode Switch & Required Wiring
For the best and cleanest visual installation, this is our recommended kit. It includes all required wiring, cut to the correct lengths, to run from the switch panel, down the pillar, and to the location of the VCU and All Terrain X Mode module. When used with our All Terrain X Module, the system can be installed and ready for use with minimal effort.

If you choose not to use this kit, the output wires will need to be connected to your own open/close switch. Any auto electrician should be able to complete this without difficulty. We also recommend fitting an indicator light to clearly show whether X Mode is active. Based on Chris’s real-world off-road experience, there are situations where you may want to toggle X Mode off, and being able to instantly see its status is a big visual advantage.

The system allows X Mode to be switched on or off while the vehicle is in drive (provided it is not in motion), which is especially useful when managing changing or tricky off-road terrain.
