Warranty & Consumer Guarantees Policy
At All Terrain, we stand behind the quality of our products. This page explains your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and our additional, voluntary 12-month return-to-base warranty.
1) Your Statutory Rights (Australian Consumer Law)
You have automatic rights under the ACL that cannot be excluded. If a product fails to meet a consumer guarantee (e.g. acceptable quality, fit for purpose, matching description), you are entitled to a remedy.
- Major failure: You may choose a refund or replacement.
- Minor failure: We repair within a reasonable time, if we cannot repair it we will reaplce it with the same product.
- If a replacement is required for any work originally performed by our workshop, we will cover the labour cost to reinstall the replacement on your vehicle, provided no other party has been involved in the product’s installation since our initial fitting and the warranty claim.
Mandatory ACL Statement:
“Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.”
2) All Terrain Action 12-Month Return-to-Base Warranty (Express Warranty)
This express warranty operates in addition to your ACL rights.
- Term: 12 months from purchase date.
- Coverage: Defects in materials or workmanship under normal use, commercial or industrial use may be effected by this period of warranty.
- Pre-approval required: All returns must be pre-arranged with our business by email.
- Photo evidence: You must send clear photos and a description of the fault as part of your claim before we can approve your return.
- Return shipping (to base): The customer pays to return the item to our service address by tracked post, with the order number clearly referenced.
- Assessment: If the item has been used and fails within 12 months, we will assess it on receipt and advise the process to claim warranty against the product for replacement.
- Outcome: If the warranty claim is approved, the cost of the replacement product is paid by All Terrain Arc Pty Ltd including shipping back to the customer.

Please ensure you use tracked postage and include your order number on (or inside) the parcel otherwise reciving will not know what to do with your return and it could delay replacement or even be lost.
3) How ACL & Our Warranty Work Together
- Our 12-month warranty does not limit your ACL rights in any way.
- If there is a major failure, you can choose a refund or replacement under the ACL (regardless of the 12-month period).
- If your issue is covered by the ACL, you may be entitled to reimbursement of reasonable return costs. Please contact us before sending anything back.
4) Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper installation, unauthorised modification, or normal wear and tear. Returns sent without prior approval may be rejected or returned at your expense.
5) How to Make a Claim
- Contact us first to pre-arrange your claim and obtain return instructions, we have a contact page on our website or walk in-store.
- Provide your order number, a description of the fault, and clear photos showing the issue.
- After approval, return the product to the address above via tracked postage, referencing your order number.
- We will assess the product on receipt and notify you of the outcome.
- If approved, a replacement will be supplied at no cost to you.
6) Proof of Purchase
Please keep your tax invoice or order confirmation. We may require proof of purchase to process your claim.
